Hallo,
die US Class 1 Railroad BNSF feiert ihr 25 jähriges Jubiläum. Die BNSF entstand in ihrer heutigen Form durch die Fusion diverser US-Bahngesellschaften (den Zeitraum nannte man auch "Mergermania"). Zum 25 jähriges Jubiläum sind zehn Loks mit den Aufschriften der ehemaligen US-Bahngesellschaften unterwegs. Hier mal ein Auszug aus dem BNSF-Newsletter:
"BNSF Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Special Locomotives
Keep an eye out, and you might spot something different leading a BNSF Railway train! Ten locomotives will help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the merger that formed BNSF Railway by sporting logos of our historic predecessor lines. The locomotive numbers are 5828, 5869, 5872, 6017, 6022, 6075, 6078, 6111, 6163 and 6179. They will operate everywhere across the network, so one may show up in your area.
BNSF is the product of more than 400 railroad lines merging or being acquired since 1849. The merger of ATSF and BN in 1995 created the world-class railroad that brings you the products you need every day."

Hallo Andre,
ich gehe auch davon aus das Kato und andere Hersteller von US-Loks werden sicher auf diesen Zug aufspringen und entsprechende Modelle heraus bringen werden.
